There are times within the activity of most churches when their goals exceed their annual budget! Opposed to tabling the activity; whether it’s for extending the educational center with new computers of varying sorts; youth outings and conventions; whether these activities are within or without; such activities should not be tabled. Herein, fundraising is accessed.

One writer said, “You have not, because you ask not,” but, often this can turn into an evangelical activity to get the church back out into the community in its’ request for help, and while receiving, this becomes a golden opportunity for giving. “Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, I give unto you;” somebody can and will receive the gospel of peace!

So, when we at Philadelphia Evangelical Baptist Church say FUNDRAISING, we’re really saying FUN in GIVING. Therefore, the next time that you hear from us the word fundraising, just know that we’re making the most out of a God-given opportunity to give. Herein, we’ll call it for what it truly is FUN-GIVING! Fun in giving back to our communities abroad.
